The UCD DeepLab was delighted to welcome Dr. Mariana Valente, Assistant Professor of International Economic Law at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, for an afternoon on 3 August. Dr Valente’s research focuses on issues in internet policy, the globalisation of digital markets, intellectual property, online misogyny, and gender inequalities. Our meeting aimed to explore possibilities for work collaborations and partnerships between DeepLab and InternetLab, a research centre on law and technologies of which Dr. Valente is an Associate Director.
