From DeepLab to Oxford: Advancing Research and Collaboration

02 March 2026

DeepLab’s PhD Candidates, Wagner Guilherme Alves da Silva and Miguel Paolo Rivera, are currently undertaking a visiting period at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Latin American Centre.

During their time there, they have been actively engaging in seminars, lectures, academic talks, and in-depth discussions connected to Deeplab research agendas.  This visiting period has provided a valuable opportunity to broaden their academic perspectives, strengthen international collaborations, and further develop their research ideas. We look forward to seeing the continued impact of this enriching academic experience on their work.

DeepLab is extremely proud of Wagner and Miguel for representing the Lab at Oxford and for the commitment and excellence they bring to their research. Their achievements reflect the strength, ambition, and international reach of our doctoral community.
