Dr Marina Frid participated in the Digital Anthropology Day hosted by the Department of Anthropology at University College London on 30 May 2023. The event promoted discussions on digital ethnography as a methodological approach and collaborations between researchers investigating platform labour, cryptocurrencies, algorithmic mediations, social media, and digital infrastructures and surveillance, among other topics. Taking part in the meeting were more than 40 ethnographers from diverse institutions, including Goldsmiths, The University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, the London School of Economics, The University of Manchester, and the University of Oxford.
